Within this blog are the collected and ongoing adventures of an artist and mama juggling parenting and the creative life as a blindfolded volunteer from the audience throws flaming knives at her. The part of the flaming knives are played by: Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome, autoimmune shenanigans, small business operations, apartment living, and a rather large and eclectic extended family. Like knives and fire, the flaming knives can be useful tools, depending on the situation.

I won’t engage in an on line dialog and post this here as it appears to be possibly the most private of your social networking, albeit public as hell. I would like to speak with you. Your posts of late in multiple sources such as this blog and public social networking sites may be interpreted as dangerously close to a public display of anarchy and at the least a strict violation of HIPAA. As an architect of the NEMA standards regarding the HIPAA act I assure one that it’s certainly in direct violation of the standard, which is law that applies to individuals or healthcare entities wrt disclosing PHI in a public place or forum without permission and you should exercise extreme care going forward. Actions which at first seemed confusing but which lateley appear desperate have escalated to an unprecedented level for some reason. Anarchy, yes, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anarchy. Some lines should just never be crossed. You don’t realize the unconditional acceptance and care some you accuse of being in the company of the “blindfolded volunteer from the audience throw(ing)s flaming knives at her” you reference above But even the most forgiving and graceful eventually find the pain of accusations with no basis, fact, or verification too much to take. And for what gain could one be seeking?.
You have my contact info. I look forward to hearing from you, no blog, no social network will do, voice only. It certainly doesn’t seem logical, your claims of not being able to communicate any way but public social networking sites especially if you can continue to manufacture such fine jewelry and maintain so many public personalities. The genes don’t fit on this side either and obviously you feel the need to do a little “throwing flaming knives” yourself and one can only assume it must be in order to achieve whatever goals you have without consideration of the cost to others. We don’t have any such brand in the blood and to reference such unverified and private health information in the public forums is not only exposing one to federal regulations and liable but may also be considered slanderous.

To those who are curious about this comment from Mr. Crawford, please note that I have never met Mr. Crawford, I am not related to him, and he did not attempt to contact me via any private means, available via multiple mutual acquaintances, before posting this here. I am extremely discrete in posting about health conditions and genetics and will post on my blog about my personal experiences (as is my right), and my child (also my right, though it is my personal practice to clear things with him) and would never name another individual and connect them with a disorder without consent and I would still obscure their identity. Should anyone feel the need to point to themselves that is not my problem. Reveal yourself at your own risk but don’t blame the person who was, in a more private setting than this blog, merely sharing information about herself and her child and general information about the disorder. If you, or someone we both know, feels the need to raise their hand and declare “me me me me”, that is their problem and not mine. If a disorder is hereditary in nature, one may hazard guesses as to other relations who may gave it, and those relationships are generic labels. If Mr. Crawford is aware of another party in such a relationship that does not mean I have disclosed anything about anyone except me, myself, and possibly, I. I take privacy and security very seriously and it was defamatory of Mr. Crawford to suggest otherwise. Mr. Crawford’s comments remain here as an example of a troll in libelous glory and I meant to address them sooner, but my life and my genes got in the way. So read what he wrote, ask questions if you would like. Read up on defamation, telecommunications laws, HIPAA and NEMA, (the latter two do not even remotely apply to anything on my blog, or the numerous venues he has accused me of sharing private information) . Read up on journalism and ethical practices (phrases which are sadly looking like strange bedfellows in this era, but still may hang out with some of the good journalists.). xo, b.
